Meet One Of Our Medical Directors w/ Dr. Sandeep Gupta

In this episode, we were lucky enough to get to talk to one of our very own medical directors, Dr. Sandeep Gupta!

One of the most common questions we get about the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition course is "So, how am I able to get the labs without being a doctor?" It's a good question, and there are a couple of parts to that answer.

The main way this is possible, though, is through our amazing medical directors who trust the FDN process enough to be willing to facilitate lab orders for our clients. In this discussion, Detective Ev and Dr. Gupta not only go over Dr. Gupta's health journey, but also how he supports FDN as a medical director himself.

About Dr. Gupta:

Dr. Gupta is a vocationally registered general practitioner who runs an integrative medicine clinic on the Sunshine Coast. His main passion relates to finding the underlying causes and innovated approaches to managing chronic illness. Dr Gupta graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland 1999. He has received specialized training in integrative medicine, and was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in 2008 and a Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. He also has a physician training certification with Dr Ritchie Shoemaker in biotoxin illness and Masters of Nutrition with Dr Gabriel Cousens in diabetes and living food nutrition. Tackling Tic DIsorders Using The FDN System w/ Dr. Piper Gibson, ND, FDN-P

Like so many FDNs, our guest today, Dr. Piper Gibson, went through the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition certification program to understand her family member's health issues better. In this case, it was her son who had the problems. Amongst many other symptoms, he dealt with a tic disorder that was not responding well at all to conventional care.

Well, a mom on a mission is a force to be reckoned with, and Dr. Gibson was on the case! After constant months and months of constant study and experimenting, she finally found the FDN course. The FDN philosophy was what finally go the needle moving for Dr. Gibson's son, and it also worked wonders for her sister, too.

Because of the experiences she had, Dr. Gibson decided to choose this work as her new career. Since she started, she has been able to go completely full-time, and has a LARGE FDN business 🙂!

From Terrible Gut Issues To Having a Wait List FDN Biz w/ Kristin Thomas, FDN-P

On this episode, we're talking to FDN-extraordinaire, Kristin Thomas!

While Kristin is now focused solely on helping other FDN Practitioners and health coaches run successful businesses, before this, her health was a mess. She dealt with debilitating pain in her gut, and this landed her in the hospital on numerous occassions.

Like so many of us stuck in the cycle of trial and error (trying medication after medication and visiting doctor after doctor without relief/success), Kristin eventually realized she'd have to go elsewhere if she wanted to avoid surgery. Thankfully for her, there was systems out there that were able to get to the bottom of what she was dealing with, the most impactful of which was the FDN system!

Kristin's success in working with her own FDN practitioner led her to pursuing the course herself and starting her own FDN business. Within months of beginning, she had already developed a wait-list practice, and was able to do the work full-time!
